New for 2007: The Adventure Photography Workshop

In today’s new adventurous world, photographers are tackling the challenges and opportunities of Adventure Photo — and after a pilot workshop last fall, we are adding the Adventure Photography Workshop under the auspices of National Geographic Adventure magazine.

Four days of classroom, career counseling and field photography in the Grand Tetons provide an insiders introduction to not just how-to, but advise with practical career-development in this fast growing field. The faculty is the best.

Corey Rich is arguably the top adventure/action photographer in the nation today. James Balog is a true artist with unique books and exhibitions added to his abilities as a great teacher. Sabine Meyer is the photo editor, reponsible for commissioning and editing the pictures in National Geographic Adventure magazine. And Rich Clarkson, the workshop organizer is the respected former director of photography of the National Geographic Society. Needless to say, the networking opportunities add that extra value to this experience.

The workshop begins on October 7-11, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming – you won’t want to miss this new adventure to the summit.
